GradeB4 is operated by Samuel Abittan, who acts as the data controller for personal data processed through the service.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email address, hashed password or OAuth identifier.
• Uploaded content: card images and any metadata you submit for grading.
• Usage data: scan history, grading results, device and browser information, IP address.
• Support data: messages you send us.
• Billing data: handled by Paddle (see "Sharing" below).

3. Purposes & legal basis

• Providing the service and generating AI grading reports — performance of a contract.
• Account security, fraud and abuse prevention — legitimate interests.
• Customer support — performance of a contract / legitimate interests.
• Product improvement and analytics — legitimate interests.
• Legal compliance — legal obligation.

4. Sharing

We share personal data only with categories of recipients necessary to run the service:

• Hosting and infrastructure providers.
• AI grading provider for image analysis.
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for payments, subscription management, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
• Authorities where required by law.

5. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymised. You can request deletion of your account at any time.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. UK/EEA users may also lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority. International transfers, where applicable, are protected by standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit and access controls to protect your data.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies required for authentication and security. We do not use advertising cookies.
